The Monrovia Renewal was the largest public works project in the city's history. Over a period of nine years, citywide repairs and upgrades were made to water and sewer pipelines, water facilities, streets, sidewalks, curbs and gutters. 

Mountain Group has provided the geotechnical and civil engineering design and oversight of more than 100 projects within the city since 2014. Some of the most notable work included the rehabilitation of 108 miles of local and major roadways, replacement of water transmission lines, main lines and water services, and a water reservoir renewal. Also included were various utility replacements and/or repairs. This has been a major effort by the city, thus far totaling over $92M.
